Steps
1 | Find the AI Actions
Step 1: Find your daily trigger
Find a task you do every day.
Actions come in different forms. Use the Anchor Picker Worksheet to help find yours.
Avoid tasks that only happen sometimes or require context switches.
Tip: If you’re unsure, ask:
“What’s something I already do at the same time each day?”
Step 2: Choose a tiny AI action
Use the below statement to create your loop:
“After I [anchor task], I will ask [AI tool] to [simple output].”
Examples:
“After I write notes, I will ask ChatGPT to summarise in bullets.”
“After I open a support ticket, I will ask Copilot to suggest a tone.”
“After I conduct customer research, I will ask our AI tool to categorise key insights.”
Step 3: Set your micro-reward
Pick one from the Reward Types List:
Personal: tick box, quick note to self
Social: share in Slack, emoji reaction
Progress: add to the streak tracker
2 | Build the loop
Step 4: Practice twice a day
Add two fixed check-ins: morning and afternoon.
Use a reminder bot or calendar reminder to stay on track.
If your anchor task doesn’t happen that day, use a backup (e.g., “first Slack login”).
Tip: Keep a sticky note on your screen or desk for your habit
Step 5: Track your streaks
Log daily completion.
Keep it visible in a shared space.
Streak milestones (like 5 days) should trigger a micro-celebration.
3 | Level up
Step 6: Friday flash share
Hold a 5-minute check-in. Each person shares:
✅ One win
🛑 One blocker or friction point
Update the streak board and reward top contributors.
Use shared insights to shape next week’s upgrades.
Step 7: Upgrade the habit
Use the Upgrade Habit Examples below to help step up your action.
Keep the same anchor. Adjust the AI use slightly:
Example:
Level 1: “Ask AI for a subject line.”
Level 2: “Ask AI for a subject line and edit the tone.”
Level 3: “Ask AI, approve, and auto-send with logging.”
Tip: Avoid massive jumps, stick to 1-click harder.
Step 8: Repeat for 4 weeks
Each weekly upgrade builds confidence and embeds the loop.
By Week 4, you’ll have turned one skill into real behaviour.
